History: The history of the Koga clan is shrouded in mystery. Many believe They got their powers strictly from cross breeding with demons. Others believe the demons get their powers from cross breeding with the Koga ninja. Neither of these things is true.
A long time ago, a great Koga ninja learned this technique in a desperate attempt to escape Nobunaga's wrath. Nobunaga was marching his army through the Koga homelands, killing every man, woman, and child in his path. The ninja frantically ran through the trees and as he did so, he sank into the shadows until there was nothing left of him. He was able to watch as Nobunaga and his troops marched right on by as he watched them from the shadows.
Now armed with a powerful tool, the Koga ninja sought revenge for all his fallen family. He used the cover of night and this new technique and he slaughtered them all.
Description The shadow meld technique allows the user to meld into shadow. The ninja is undetectable when using this technique until he/she comes out of the shadow. The user can also move between shadows as long as they are connected and they can see outside the shadow. At her current level (genin) this is all she can do. She will gain more techniques utilizing this ability as she advances in rank and power.
Chunin: She will be able to control shadows. However, she will not be able to give it substance; it is still a shadow. Gains the ability to partially leave shadows. i.e. Her top half can come out of the shadow while her bottom half is still in the shadow.
Jonin: She will be able to solidify shadow, giving it three dimensions. Also, she will be able to use shadow projectiles. She gains the ability to use sticky shadow. When ever someone steps on a shadow she is occupying, the person cannot move from that spot until she leaves the shadow.
Advanced Jonin/S-rank: She will be able to morph shadow around her body to create a suit. The suit covers her bottom half and extends into large tentacles, similar to an octopus except there are ten tentacles. This suit is very solid.
Weakness’s/drawbacks: While in shadow meld, the user cannot use any other jutsu unrelated to the meld.
