Personality: Generally, Mai is well-known for her somewhat flamboyant, outgoing, and somewhat impulsive attitude. When it comes to other peoples' love lives, she tends to be rather nosy about it, but she does mean well. At times, she can be quite a tease and a bit of a flirt towards men, but it's really all in good fun for her. Even though she's quite a cheerful person, she is rather easy to irritate and anger if someone were to provoke her.

Alignment

History: Mai was actually created and tested as an experiment, to be used only when needed in battle against other villages or military purposes. She was locked up and hidden away in a chamber, and only opened when her village needed her. Her village was wiped out when they attacked a stronger village, seemingly for no reason other than the desire to kill. Having underestimated their opponent's defenses, they were slaughtered, with only Mai surviving. With nowhere else to go, Mai began traveling the world, hoping she would someday find her new purpose in this world since she was no longer assisting her old home. She took it upon herself to learn more about this school and has currently made it her new goal in life to graduate from so she could learn to control her emotions and powers better.

Specialty: Mai has the psionic ability to control forms of weather over vast areas. She can control the temperature of the environment, control all forms of precipitation, humidity and moisture (at a molecular level), generate lightning and other electromagnetic atmospheric phenomena, and has demonstrated excellent control over atmospheric pressure. She can incite all forms of meteorological tempests, such as tornadoes, thunderstorms, blizzards, and is capable of summoning a hurricane, as well as mist. She can dissipate such weather to form clear skies as well. Mai has shown to be sensitive to the dynamics of the natural world, and her psionic powers over weather are affected by her emotions. One consequence of this connection to nature is that she often suppresses extreme feelings to prevent her emotional state from resulting in violent weather.
